Yeah, there are a lot of counter intuitive things that we do, i agree. Public defecation? sure. I've seen a lot of it but it's mostly in the slum areas where thousands of people live in a cramped up space and why share a toilet when you could shit on the street besides you (that is the general mentality in the slums. This is mostly because they are not educated enough to understand the importance of hygiene.)
