I don't think that Icke is a crank, he just has a conception of 'reality' that is different to most people. Nothing wrong with that. Icke has correctly predicted various things. One recent example I'll give you is that David Icke's book 'The Biggest Secret', released in 1998, claimed that former UK Prime Minister Ted Heath sexually abused children. In August 2015, the London Police were investigating allegations of child sexual abuse by Ted Heath, yet unsurprisingly, nothing about David Icke's claim about Ted Heath in The Biggest Secret is mentioned in the mainstream media.
