The Treasury Dept is set to put Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill, replacing a white, genocidal man who repeatedly broke the law in his time as president.
>>
Is this stuff about Jackson true or just anti-white hyperbole
>>
>>71786367

Pretty true, but Jackson did do some neat stuff.
>>
>>71786297
Who the fuck cares Jackson hated the banks he's on the 20 now as a fuck you to him anyways.
>>
>>71786367
Yeah, Jackson did a lot of shit that is distasteful by today's standards, but he also did stuff that was good. Like slowing down the Rothschild peons by killing the national bank for one. Putting Tubman on the bill is just jungle bunny/SJW appeasement

My only problem is why does the picture have to be so shitty why not be something like this.
>>
>>71786297
Just go to the Treasury website you fags.

The back side of your bills is what's really coming around.
>>
>>71786618
The irony is they are replacing the Democrat parties founder with a gun toting freedom loving republican
>>
>>71786297
Wasn't she a criminal?
We replaced an accomplished president with a criminal?
Why not just have all our currency have criminals on it like Osama bin Laden or Sadam Hussain?
>>
>>71786367
He did far more good than bad and I use the term bad only by taking modern SJW and feminist social brainwashing into account. However like typical society they only focus on the bad to shit up a guy's name and legacy. They need to remove the faces of people on the US currency and replace them with historical accomplishments instead. Or maybe plants exclusive to America. I was gonna include animals but some retard looking for his 15 seconds of lolz fame would say "But they are putting animals on the money because Tubby is gonna be there."
>>
I'll be withdrawing money from my bank in $10s from now on instead of $20s.
>>
>>71787036
Yes she was black
>>
>>71787036
Didn't she have a penis?
She looks like she could could have had a penis.
Shouldn't the US Treasury be free from this stronk women meme?
>>
>>71786717
I'm OK with this one

She stole people's property and was a federal criminal because of that.

If she had been caught while slavery was still legal, she would have been arrested and hung. She has no right to be on our currency.
>>
>>71788759
Itd piss libs off if there was a gun totin' negro on the $20 though.
>>
>>71787036
>>71787748

Most of the Harriet Tubman story is a myth. She helped at most 50-60 people, most whom she was related to. She suffered from a form of narcolepsy that mad it difficult for her to perform rescues and this also has made many think she went with at least two other people, even though she was commonly described as "going it alone". The first biography of her was written by one of her white uber-christian benefactors who wanted to provide a role model for post-emancipation blacks. After that, Marxists latched onto her legend for some reason to keep it alive. A shit ton of black "role models" were invented because they needed narratives that would generate compliant establishment porch monkeys. Black businessmen, entrepreneurs, etc get ignored because those success stories actually matter and generate a way out of poverty for blacks, instead of valiantly inspiring them to pursue even greater gib-me-dats.
>>
>>71787941
Is that Will Smith?
>>
>>71788759
Lol then why does Washington or any of the founding fathers? They where traitors to the crown who would have been drawn and quartered if caught,

Yes because those thing are totally the same, and all Americans benefited in the long run from Tubman stealing people's slaves.
>>
>>71789096
You can't steal a person.

People aren't property, you kidnap them.
>>

>Implying the bastard German kings of Great Britain had any claim to the island that their Norman forefathers stole from Anglo-Saxons

George III would have been banished back to Normandy by the Anglo-Saxons if caught.

And since you can't kidnap the willing, she didn't do that either.

Blatantly false. Those people were, in fact, owned under US federal law and they were stolen from their owners. They served a purpose as farm equipment, mostly and when that equipment was taken away, it was difficult/impossible to get done the work that needed to get done.

Emotional pandering is not an argument, so don't start with that shit.
>>
>>71789220
Oh they certainly can be. In fact they were under the law at the time. And still are in many countries around the world, if you actually gave half an ass about the actual human condition and not bitching about how people are evil for wanting to keep old hickery on the currency.
>>
I can't wait to revive operation lioncash
>>
>>71789555
Bullshit King Cotton was dead anyways it was not economically viable for the south to continue with slaves had the civil war never happened the south would have gotten rid of slavery any ways. All Tubman did was say fuck you to the federal govt and did her own shit. If anything she was a god damn republican hero.

i can see it now

>who is this on the $20

>its a former slave who lead a few hundred slaves to freedom

>the other bills have top 10 presidents

>yeahhhhhhhh
>>
>>71789992
Whats wrong using the emotional argument? Slavery by that point in time was clearly a Moral wrong. The fact the US continued to practice such an outdated system hurt them on the world stage and made other countries think less of us. If the US ever wanted to play with the big boy's at the time Slavery had to go.

>two non-president founding fathers

I wish Benny was on a lower value bill so I could use his likeness every day. Or if half dollars were still a thing and he was on there instead of JFK.

Emotional arguments alone are logical fallacies. You must supply logic and credibility as well. Did you not pay attention in English?

It's true, the man was pretty nuts even for his time.

>>71787036
It would be less upsetting if they put George W. on it or Obongo.

Why didn't they just go for MLK though?
>>
>>71790369
>The fact the US continued to practice such an outdated system hurt them on the world stage and made other countries think less of us.
Bullshit. The European powers with the possible exception of Great Britain all kept slavery in some form for the entirety of the 19th century. The only thing that set the US apart was that we kept our slaves in our homeland.
>>
>>71790515

That's because they couldn't force dollar coins into a population that still uses bills. People will stick with bills because they're lighter and wallet-friendly.
>>
I hope Trump becomes president and orders the US Treasury to strip all American money of its Masonic symbols.
>>
>>71790651
vending machines.

it's all about the $$$$.
>>
Why didn't they actually go for MLK? He's the most influential black person that I can think of on top of my head. Almost everyone knows him in USA so it would be somewhat appropiate considering the massive influence he had in the political and social realm of US.
>>
>>71790744

All vending machines within the last like 20+ years should be able to take dollar coins. They even tried to save the dollar coin with the presidential series. The only way to make it work is to stop issue new $1 bills and start collecting them up for destruction.
>>
>>71790651
>That's because they couldn't force dollar coins into a population that still uses bills. People will stick with bills because they're lighter and wallet-friendly.

Yet my pockets have quarters, nickels, dimes, and even pennies and they're wallet unfriendly.
>>
>>71790786
Because MLK was a Communist for starters.
>>
>>71790830

Most people hate carrying coins around though. You can't have a bill and a coin occupy the same space, people are going to choose the bill.
>>
>>71790786
because they wanted to put a fucking woman on the money as well as a black person. There is not even one single woman worthy of being on our currency regardless of race.

However, by 1976 the FBI had acknowledged that it had not obtained any evidence that King himself or the SCLC were actually involved with any communist organizations.

I'm fine with it. Not too happy about millions being spent to redo the artwork. Talk about burning money.

While they're at it, can we get that murderer off the $5?

But you still have Martin Luther King day?

The narrative goes that King was brought in connections with communism to defame him.

No one knows about MLK being a hippie. No one cares. The Fed is doing this for diversity points. A woman is worth more than a man. Also it helps she was around 100 years before him. People alive today are still butthurt over MLK. Like me. I'm a Malcolm man. Based nigger would get hung last if I had a say.
