Parents came from Venezuela and I grew up in the Cubanero that is Miami. I was raised speaking spanish and going to Catholic school. Knoe Latinos from all over the Caribbean and Latin America.
I can speak for my family and most other Latinos when I tell you that most Latinos consider Mexicans a disgrace. Somehow they manage to make all other Latinos look bad, despite coming from one of the most developed latin american countries. They're definitely hard working, but their culture is a grotesque hybrid of proper Hispanic culture and an oversimplified idea of cowboys. The other group of Mexicans are the cholos, which are basically just blacks.
