Explain to me what would happen to the UK the EU or even the US of Brexit were to succeed?

Possible cons I'm thinking about: possible economic collapses when the EU breaks up and that's just bad for the world economy in general. Plus destabilization at a time where there's a massive influx of refugees seems likely to make a bad situation worse.

I couldn't give a fuck what happens to the world or even to our economy short term. People are not focused on the bigger picture here.
We either leave or we become a province of the EU forever. The goal of the EU has always been a unified European nation state despite that proving to be an impractical and all around shitty idea.
The EU commision would rather run the entire continent into the ground than give up on that dream. There is no "Changing it from within". The goal is undermining national sovereignty and it always will be, no matter the cost.
It needs to be completely torn down.

The EU is increasingly totalitarian. Its a threat to sovereignty and democracy and they should leave. There are benefits to staying of course which include free movement of labour and free trade but there is no reason why they cannot negotiate those terms outside the EU like Switzerland.
