There's nothing wrong with that statement but the issue is for the longest time women have had different priorities than men. To suddenly force some sort of affirmitive action or other measure to get women into the field because of a sudden change of mentality isn't fair.
Anyway there's no lack of women in the more emotional sciences that deal with directly helping life such as biology. But again it's being raised on a different mentality for generations and generations.
