Colleges should provide an open forum for all ideas and promote analytical thinking. If you do this, all the other problems will take care of themselves.
The only times that colleges should be restricted in what they teach is when fringe ideologies are being taught in mandatory classes or the faculty is openly bias in promoting an ideology. Fight these things, but don't seek to ban ideas from being taught. It won't work and you'll embarras our cause in the process.
