They aren't people!
>>

He killed the bank.
Tubman did fuck all.
>>
Everyone else was doing it. /black/ here who gives a shit?

Why do we try to pretend it WASN'T the 1700s?

Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson were still based.

I hate that it's trendy and cool to shit all over the founding fathers.
>>
>>71737619

He was on par with Teddy R when it came bravery but without all of Roosevelt's attention whoring.

http://mentalfloss.com/article/18445/nine-lives-andrew-jackson

Note that this leaves out the story in which he beat the shit out of his would be assassin with his cane.
>>
There's nothing to explain
>>
Niggers aren't human, and ending slavery was a mistake that we're still reeling from today.
>>
What's wrong with slavery ?
>>
>>71737848
who gives a shit about that desu, you're just sperging out.

Andrew NEVER should have been on ANY kind of paper money. He can literally rest in peace now knowing one of the thing he hates the most has less emphasis about him.

Andrew Jackson HATED the banks...so why the fuck do you retards think he wants to be on there REMOTELY?
>>
>>71737619
Context sensitive
>>
>>71737619
Slavery was legal at the time, I am not arguing for or against slaver, but in those day's it would of been extremely abnormal to be anti slavery. And that Tubman person would kill slaves regularly if they thought about ratting her out, not only that she was mentally ill from head trauma. You can't fault a man for living in his current year.
>>
>>71737983
Still need money.
We put him on money.
>>
He was a cool guy but the removal of the Indians from Florida after signing treaties with them was pretty fucked up.

He basically gave into the "gibs me dat" demands of people who wanted Cherokee land, even though the Cherokee were doing all they could to modernize.
>>
>>71738089
Well the money is fuckedand andrew should have nothing to do with the abomination that is the federal reserve.

I do however wish they replaced him with somebody else besides tubman. JFK, MLK or somebody like that would be cooler.

i'd say its rather subversive to have him on the bank notes, people can get curious about who it is
>>
>>71737619
The hero of the war of 1812 and a champion of the common man. Rose from being a backwoods hillbilly to leader of a nation.

Who fucking cared if he owned slaves when it was socially and morally acceptable to do so.
>>
>>71738236
I'm glad he did it, otherwise there would be Cherokees in Florida
>>
>>71737619
He was a good boi.
Andrew Jackson dindu nuffin.
>>
>>71738636
I think this shitstorm is doing that right now.

More people are looking him up now then they ever did when he was on the 20.
>>
>>71738867
Same. Every liberal douche in this nation has something to thank the man for, they're just too dense to realize it.
>>
I for one agree with taking him off. He never should have been on a federal reserve note. I mean, don't put some worthless nog in his place, but he shouldn't be there.

The man hated national banks. His legacy is that of busting banks, more than any trail of tears or badass duels. It's shameful that they ever tried to tie him to the fed. He'd roll in his grave over that than any black lady being stamped on a note.

You have to take the bad and the good. That's what history is, it's not about which side was wrong.

And Andrew Jackson may have been a racist hateful fuck but the central bankers that he risked his life to stop were orders of magnitude worse. I guarantee everything would have gone down for the worse if he had died and the banks took over. His action preceded a technological and quality of living boom that human history had never seen before. He was the only president to preside over the debt being paid off. I dare any man to top such a feat. I wonder if even Trump, with all of his business savvy would be capable of paying down how much we owe.
>>
>>71739415
The problem with Florida is that over the last 20 years we've had the poorest yankees displaced by the death of manufacturing move here and fuck the place up. And puerto ricans, I'm not sure which is worse.

For instance, my county has 1/100 of the US homeless population living here, and 85% are from other states. Every drug addict I've ever met was from Ohio.
>>
Owning slaves doesn't make you bad.
>>
>>71737878
Set the SJW's up for a sour stomach.

Tell them about Union General William Sherman and his destruction of Atlanta. Let them bask in the glory of killing Dixie.

Then laugh in their face that General Sherman went on to nearly exterminate the Indians in the west.

They get all funny and don't know how to feel after such a revelation.

Nah, and he was a shit president with retarded ideas that destroyed the country

>muh national banks

A depression worse than the great depression of 1929 happened because of his actions as president.
>>

He gave his slaves a degree of independence.
>>
>>71739934
>Nah, and he was a shit president with retarded ideas that destroyed the country
Judging by how we built the most powerful nation on the planet on the foundation he layed, you're absolutely wrong.

His actions against the banks need to be repeated and remembered from here to eternity. The power to issue currency belongs to the people.
>>
>>71739728
>You're retarded. JFK, Jackson, and Lincoln shouldn't be on money

The sick irony is that all 3 of these presidents made attempts to gain monetary control back from the banks in some form. Lincoln printed greenbacks because the alternative was borrowing from a central back at huge interest. JFK put orders in place to start having the treasury issue silver backed $1 and $5 bills the year he was shot.

>A depression worse than the great depression of 1929 happened because of his actions as president.

Depressions occur as a result of credit expansion, usually through a central bank. Jackson ended it abruptly, but the bank would have had to cut off the supply of new credit eventually resulting in a panic all the same.
>>

Slavery was the norm for the time not only in the US but abroad.

All three were publicly shot

It would appear that standing up to the Central Bankers is quite the dangerous thing to do.

I wonder how many more convenient deaths have been suffered by opponents of the Bank.
>>

No man has dropped the hammer on bullshit like Jackson.

Itll be a sad day not pulling his glory out of my wallet.

>Pro Slavery Actions

Who the fuck cares. He was a human being. Ive yet to read about a human who was wildly successful but also not detestable. History is History and this man accomplished a shit ton.

Tubman managed to get a couple thousands blacks from south to north.

Jackson made hundreds of thousands of Indians march thousands of miles.

Basically they've accomplished the same thing.

Why are people flipping a shit over Jackson's portrait being moved to the back of the bill as if it's insulting his legacy? The achievements he was most proud of was paying off the country's debt and killing the bank that was the forefather of the Reserve.
