Most L2 learners have troubles with proncucation and don't sound native.
My system can solve this, because it shows where a long sound and where the short's one
>>71732181
Yup. But it doesn't.
>>71733609
Yeah that's definitely the biggest hump towards speaking well. I studied in Ufa for a month, a phonetics class was really helpful. Fuggin ь

there's literally no reason to use latin over the cyrillic alphabet since it is already phonetically read in cyrillic

>mfw no qt Russian gf
>>71732181
I learn it with cyrillic and latin is just confusing and bothersome to that
>>71734453
>it is already phonetically read in cyrillic
lol
do you really believe in it?
actually now, I can say it as a native speaker
if you will read cyrillic as it written - you will sound like a robot
>>71734894
If you read as written as a foreigner you get stresses all wrong normally
>>71732181
It's even worse than original Cyrillic script.
So it's no.

It took me like 4 months of doing the language before i could roll "p" properly, my lecturer said everyone would think I was either Lenin or a jew if i didn't fix it
>>71735518
top kek
>>71735518
Is it Latin "p" or "r".
Because "r" here is hard, like French "rrr", not soft "ah".

*экcплeйн
>>71732181
I would 100%, won't bother with cyrylic shit tho
No
It wouldn't be so hard to learn cyrillic if I cared.
Also Russian is kind of cool because it has it's own writing. It gives off that retarded aura
>>71736682
I learned Cyrillic script when reading labels on tea packs when 7-8 years old :)
Learned Russian for 5 years in Middle School, but teacher was /low energy/ and didn't learn Russian in high school at all. Instead, I chose fortified English classes for C1 levels and uni for C2.
>>71732181
Isn't russian 99.9% phonetic? I don't think the cyrilic alphabet is the biggest hurdle. I blame the case system. I don't want to learn 6 inflections for every fucking word and remember how to use each one correctly.
>>71737617
No, not really. It has the reading rules, but it's a very far away from phonetical orphography.
>>71737617
Learning Cyrillic was easy for me, downloaded the Russian keyboard and memorized it in no time as well. The most difficult for me is tending to translate too literally, it's very idiomatic. The phonetics part also takes awhile for a native English speaker, the palatalization
