I'm not sure what you're asking. Manual labor for a wage is selling your body. Thing is, prostitution causes a disruption to the social fabric of society due to the intense effect that human sexuality has on aforementioned social fabric.

For millenias, in many societies and still today in some countries, going to the brothel was something people did/do for fun just like you would go to a bar with the lads or else.
