He is right.
Human induced climate change is real
>>
>>71711462
Oh well if a book of Jewish mythology said that then it must be true and should take priority over modern science.
>>
>>71711524
You're a fucking retard. The question is whether humans are responsible for the climate change, not whether it's happening. It's a fact that the poles and glaciers are melting, it's a fact that this will cause problems for humanity. If it's part of a natural cycle or caused by us is not the issue.

Why would you be surprised at this point? He meets with abortion activists, socialists and other scum, but refused to speak out about gay marriage when it was up for a vote in the Italian parliament or about abortion when he was in front of the US congress. This is totally in character for him.

That was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. I don't blame the blacks and arabs for looking at him with disgust. That was their first interaction upon coming to the west.

A very accurate one of their time ahead at that.

>>
>>71711785
nigger pls.

you're just moving the goal post,

there is no substantive correlation between humans and weather. The weather is made up of so many variables that correlate to it, including peanut butter consumption in norway, that no one can even begin to agree on what is correlating with it anymore. The space weather guys are a great example of this, they have found much higher positive correlations between everything from electromagnetic discharge, to sun spots, to planetary rotation patterns than anything they've found on earth. and yet, no they aren't even sure it has an actual, measurable effect on the weather.

if CO2 really was directly correlated, we would have seen it in the rural ambient temperatures that have been kept in the U.S. for the past 200 years. since there is no direct correlation, they are suggesting an indirect link and how is that link supposed to be more convincing than peanut butter consumption in Norway?

the climate changes all the fucking time with at least several major shifts in the past 50000 years according to ice cores we dig out of greenland. nobody denies the climate is changing.

what we do deny is humanity's role in it. even with 7 billion of us on the planet we are still at the complete mercy of forest fires, volcanos, floods, tornados, high pressure gas releases from tectonic activity of millions of cubic meters of trapped gas and the big daddy of them all; the sun. that massive ball of fusion in the sky that powers it all.

do you think we could get people to demand a lower carbon footprint from the sun because of solar warming do you?

>/pol/ can't

Well /pol/, it's been fun.
>>
>>71711785
You're retarded. It's not a question of whether humans are contributing. It's a question of how bad the consequences will be and whether it's worth limiting economic growth in the developing world to counteract it.
>>
>>71713102

And most experts on the topic say yes. what more do you fucking want?

>inb4 muh models
>>
>>71713302

Most of these so-called "experts" have nothing to do with climatology. climatology is not even a serious science, none of their mathmatical models can be proven to directly correlate. furthermore, carbon is only one variable out of who knows how many that exist. Since it cannot even be accurately predicted, it cannot be accurately assessed. This much is said even by IPCC. It's people like Black Science Guy that goes on fedora tours and tells people how smart scientists are and how we should appeal to authority when it comes to things we can't know. funny how they've eschewed religion by replacing it with their own brand of religion.

This isn't the thermostat in your mom's basement, kids.

We're a huge mass hurling around the shifting barycenter of a gargantuan ball of flaming gas which is in turn hurling around the goddamned center of mass for the entire Milky Way galaxy.

Tell me again how you arrogant humans are capable of being responsible for either maintaining stable temperatures or destabilizing them. This is why us Jew Martians are laughing at you goy.

>>
>>71713645
omg you're probably an anti-vaccer too. You know everything I just said to be true and you decide co2 must be the problem? If only it were that convenient. You're like one of those conspiracy kids who can't accept chaos and needs the comfort of knowing the evil Jews is behind everything wrong with the world. You have no control, kid. You're just going to burn at the wild whims of the cosmos and there's nothing you can do about it.

The best part about this response is that the same thing applies to economics yet no one here complains about so called economic experts. Yet here everyday we see people spouting off about what some expert said about the economy and how eliminating taxes and regulation will make everything great. Shit's funny. Each side has their own boogie-man pseudoscience bullshit with no accurate models, and both sides are trying to make huge policy changes with massive ramifications on mankind as a whole without any kind of proper predictive model.

except that's not even how its supposed to work, c02 is a drop in the bucket, less than 1% of atmospheric greenhouse gasses, which is really a misnomer because there is really only one "greenhouse gas" that we know for sure has a direct effect on trapping heat, water vapor and that makes up 95%+
>>
>>71714490

Water vapour is short lived and self regulating. We are not increasing the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere cause the water cycle regulates itself. Human activity is not resulting in accumulation of atmospheric h2o.

And here we go again...

>>
>>71714694

Just to clear up why this is important you could not have a runaway greenhouse effect with water vapour. As the concentrations get higher and higher the vapour is more and more likely to fall as rain. co2 has no such release valve and is instead stuck up there for a minimum of decades, up to a few hundred years.
