I don't understand all this outrage about trans and bathrooms.
Regardless of the status of current law, what's stopping a man from entering ANY bathroom and committing a heinous crime? Dressing as a woman would make entering seem less suspicious, but a rape can be committed with or without a wearing a dress.
It's like outlawing a specific way of murdering people, even though murder is already illegal.
If safety is that big of a concern for women, then some form of self-defense implement should be carried. If not a CCW firearm, most US states allow some type of blade to be carried on your person. After all, danger can lurk in all places, public and private.
Don't get me wrong... I really believe these people are mentally ill, but unless their actions are actively harming others, they should be left alone just like anybody else with some sort of ailment.
