Both are equal fairy tails. Christ is an allegory of the sun. Religion is the tool in which man uses allegory, story, and numbers to pervade the message about the journey of the soul. For those who cannot see deeper than literal interpretation (like the little dude in the pic) it gives a general moral outline.

Without getting too much into a theological debate, the point is that at least the Christian's belief system logically flows from initial belief to practice. Whether or not that initial belief is valid is another question, but the logic is sound

Critical theory is a way of analyzing text and society that emphasizes the motive behind the writers/social forces as the most importaint thing, rather than the actual events.
So for instance when you say that an event happened not as a natural flow as history but because the people behind it had a certain goal that's critical theory. Ironically "the Jews are doing this to take over the world" is an example.
In literature critic theory would be saying "this writer made the story come out this way because he is trying to push a Marxist agenda" or Christian agenda or anything else.
It's basically a method of analyze to find and deconstruct ideology.
/pol/ realized the people that made the thinking were Jews so they figure it must be evil.

Speaking as an English major, I can confirm this, but in modern times critical theory is used for a lot more evil than good. Initially it was helpful for everything you have described, however now it is a poison that is rapidly killing academia
