I was debating whether to post this thread here on /pol/ or /v/ but sided with /pol/ as the mods here aren't as stringent and /v/ often doesn't like to get into the social aspects behind and in gaming other than gamer gate.
But I would like to write a paper for my poli sci class on the politics of gaming and be as objective as possible over how feminists and gays have influenced gaming and how political attitudes are related to gaming
.
Does anyone on /pol/ have any good books or reading material to recommend on feminism and gaming, homosexuality and gaming, and politics and gaming?
You'd be doing me a real solid.

Also, why do people make such noise over bravely default? if this kind of JRPG came out like ten years ago, it would have been largely ignored.

I don't have any books or anything, but I know a few tumblr blogs that tend to go into those subjects.
