i know a guy who went into medicine, and, once residency was done he started with $350k as a cardiologist. After 3 years in the doctor group he worked with he became a partner and get 500k realistic to 600k.

A lot of schools are changing CS into stupid like web design and angry birds design. Which I guess isn't that bad considering most people are only going to college to get a job, and those things are what they want you to do in a job. I guess you just have to research the program beforehand to tell which you're getting.
