I was watching one of the first episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and the main character saw a cop fill his cruiser with water and supplies and not paying much mind to the usual mayhem in LA. I realized that's all it'll take for cops to cut and run, when their jobs seem a little less important than their next seven meals.
