Currently under California law you can own high cap mags as long as you bought them before the ban. They are trying to make it illegal to own even those mags now.
And they are trying to make every semi auto centerfire rifle that can accept a detachable mag an "assault" rifle. This also means after we register our "assault" rifles as such we can do shit like make them SBRs without a tax stamp.

Full auto is a no no as well as suppressors due to the way the law is worded.
SBRs as long as they are registered as an "Assault weapon" are fine as one of the qualifications for it being an assault weapon is having a barrel under 16 inches or overall length under 30 inches.
The ban on full auto guns is seperate. Its extremely confusing and requires reading between the lines of the law.
