Some other ideologue would have taken power eventually, and the German mindset in the 30's and 40's was predisposed toward hating the Jews and Commies whom they blamed for defeat in WWI and the civil struggles immediately after it.
On top of that, the Soviet Union would have invaded Western Europe even if Germany remained the Weimar republic. One of the reasons Hitler launched a surprise attack on the Soviets was because they knew the Commies were planning to invade the rest of Europe anyways (ironically this might have ended with the US fighting as allies with German rather than against them).
At any rate, WWI sowed the seeds for WWII, Hitler was just a catalyst that brought about war at faster rate.
