Except that's incorrect, holding those beliefs alone doesn't make you a collectivist. By that definition, everyone with an ingroup preference is a collectivist. What makes someone a collectivist or not is their way of going about and accomplishing their goals not what they believe. This is coming from someone you would definitely consider a collectivist, I encounter people who share my beliefs but disagree on the methodology quite often. It isn't as clear cut as you'd like it to be, especially considering a huge parts of the group are former libertarians(or still) and have inherent distrust of big government.
