Yes I might be a nihilist, I never claimed to be a pure objectivist but there are some things with which I identify that are related to objectivism. That's why my initial question was to understand why having kids is relevant to my own self-interest other than a karmic debt to society.

Yes I understand and that's why I mention the karmic debt to society, someone had to sacrifice themselves in order for you to be born into the society you were born. I totally agree, but that still doesn't answer the question of why it's on my own self-interest to have kids. It seems like an altruistic act that invokes self-sacrifice and goes against the fundamental notions. That's just my opinion.
If you feel fulfilled and happy at the thought of having a child then you absolutely should have a child and improve your happiness. It's in your own self-interest to do so. But if you don't really see the point and think it's an altruistic pointless act, then why should you do it other than having a heavy conscience from being born into an already built society? I understand this question might have no rational answer. I also understand the /pol/ approved concerns with the extinction of western culture but that problem has other solutions that don't involve my own self-sacrifice.
