The best weather I've ever experienced was in mid-Georgia. Beautiful trees, hills, cool in autumn and warm in summer, it's one of the best states in the Union. Moved from the North (New England) to the South. It's been great, not sure why everyone gives it a bad rap
- Having a culture that's not unbelievably cucked to the stratosphere. Men and men and women are women.
- You can own just about any firearm you want unlike in the north where the 2nd amendment basically doesn't exist.
- Industry and economy is booming whereas people are moving away from my home state in droves
- No raging snow storms, on the coast it's pretty much perfect weather until it gets really humid in the summer
- People are by and large pretty friendly.
- Low cost of living where I can by a house for 1/5 of what it would have cost me in New England
- The local and state government doesn't meddle with your daily life and leaves you alone. No Kennedy worshiping unlike in New England.
The only downsides really are the mosquitos, being maybe too hot in the summer, most of the south is rural, the transportation infrastructure is very underdeveloped, and the fact that I just prefer to speak frankly to people and cut around the passive aggressive 'fake-nice' bullshit. If you're planning on going throughout the US, definitely visit the West Coast for the general cultural and beach experience but don't spend too much time as it quickly wears off. Definitely visit Las Vegas again for the experience as it's fairly unique and the general feel and environment of it is very American (in my opinion).
Then I would definitely go along the SE Coast. Go to Florida and maybe up into Virginia and so on. The Capital is pretty fun to visit at least once.
