It's as good as any other state in that regard, yes. If you're looking for me to list tourist reasons why you should come visit and live here, I won't. I enjoy how much more spacious everything is, I enjoy the seasons. The cost of living is cheap, Columbus and Cleveland are nice hubs to visit in terms of arts and festivals. But all major cities have things like that.
It sounds like you constantly need things to do because you're unsatisfied. While I understand the sentiment, I am not that way.
I guess the point I'm really trying to make is if you are always looking outward at things to entertain yourself, you will eventually run out of things no matter where you are because of your mentality.
Sure you might say "well New York has all this art and shows and theater", which it does, but after a while it turns into seeing a show just to see a show, not seeing a show because you have actual interest in it. It becomes dull, repetitious-you are unsatisfied. The cycle starts over again.
In terms of "things to do", you should look into things that give you personal satisfaction that are creative in some aspect. See maslow's pyramid.

That's because most zoos are shit. Ohio's zoos are absolute fucking trash tier. Columbus has tiny cramped exhibits for all their animals (last I knew anyway - I haven't been there in many years but plan to visit again next month to see if anything's changed), Cleveland is mediocre, but the rainforest house almost makes up for it, Cincannati is a trainwreck of poor design and boring exhibits with plants blocking every view (somehow this is a "good" thing and makes it a "well-gardened" zoo kek), Toledo used to be fucking awesome with its brick aquarium with many interesting exhibits and okay aviary, but then they remodeled the aquarium and it looks like every other shitty aquarium in America with a tiny number of huge displays overfilled with way too many fish and algae covered plastic corals. A SHIT. Americans have disgustingly low standards for what biological parks are meant to look like.
