The purpose of testing in education is to weed out the scum. If they allow scum to take the slots of deserving students, then they'll pay for it in the end. They'll end up with a bunch of incompetent fucks who find themselves in critical positions and do little to nothing to advance their society. A proper society weeds out the scum and have them do menial and trivial scum jobs. Brilliant people are placed in positions where they can advance society. This is why the West has been ahead in developing technologies because you rarely find incompetent dindus heading R&D facilities literally doing nothing but collecting a paycheck, like the majority of Chinamen counterparts do. Because they've been weeded out and are now working in your fast food joints, retail centers, collecting your garbage, and other low skill/intelligence jobs.

Things like uncontrolled cheating nurtures a culture that's devoid of ethical standards that eventually affects society in a negative way. Say one of those cheating students cheats their way to becoming the party leader. We had a chinese cheater in the comp sci program I was rolled in. Because he was a foreigner, they cut him some slack and explained how we do things in Finland. Second time he got caught, he was fired for a year and hasn't returned since. Which was good and all because he paid another (foreigner) student to do all of his work for him.
I really don't understand cheating in any of it's form. Either you know/can do something or you don't, there are no shortcuts to mastery. I'd personally much rather die than cheat.
