Legit/ real talk: Will the United States of America get a Republican President in 2016?
No matter how I look at the data, I just can't see the numbers in the population being greater for a Republican. For example if the primary vote numbers are anything to go by, democrats are getting at least 2-3 times more votes than their republican rivals. (Yes that's factoring in that there's an extra candidate in the Republican race and more before).
How in the hell are Republicans going to get in the White house, short of Hillary being legally stopped from running? Because no matter how good a republican candidate (let's say Trump) does against her come general time, she'll just keep getting all the media support and she'll just keep all the democrat voters in her pocket with the 'I'm progress and liberty' and 'le Trump is an evil nazi' meme.
Trump has been the guy I wanted to win the race for ages now. I'm not American but I've been following the election/ primaries closely. I want him to get the nomination (I'm sure he will) and become the President (odds seem stacked against him). Someone tell me how you think he will win.

Not quite. Trump will have the worst performance seen by a republican in the plains in decades due to the "true conservatives" who will stay home or vote for whichever independent the GOP backs. Trump probably won't win most of the states that he didn't win in the primaries, but he'll have a strong edge in all blue/swing states and probably have a clusterfuck map where he takes blue states and loses red states.
Realigning election under any scenario, though. We're not coming out of this with 2 parties still standing.

The GOP will back a third party candidate, or (more likely) a conservative third party candidate won't be openly backed by the GOP and will get more media attention than Trump. Traditionally, third party candidates are given no media attention as to prevent them from becoming popular, but in this scenario it's to keep the Cruzmissiles away from Trump. The GOP won't sit by and let Trump win, he's the only threat to their agenda in decades.
I'd add that it won't be the libertarians. The majority of the libertarians this election will be from the Bernie people and promoting the party would hurt Hillary.

ATL is a major world city. The growth rate is huge, people are flocking there because there are a shitload of jobs.
The US has had a major population shift in the last 30 or so years from north to south. States like North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas have had their major cities grow tremendously. These states are generally more business friendly than anywhere in the north. States like TN and FL are even more attractive because there is no personal income tax. Go drive around Nashville some time, the amount of extremely wealthy people is astounding, and they are largely there because of the lack of tax.
A lot of the jobs that have been created or moved to places like ATL are IT, engineering, and healthcare. These fields tend to be packed with asians and indians.
Also the entire south is completely awash with mexicans. Basically ALL home construction, landscaping, cleaning, and other menial jobs are filled by mexicans now.
It pretty rare for the same party of the two-term incumbent to win. That's what I'm banking on - statistical likelihood.

Republican primary turnout is up. Democratic primary turnout is down. Republican turnout is higher than Democratic turnout this year.
New York is a consistent blue state. Obviously New York Democratic primary turnout is going to huge compared to New York Republican turnout. I doubt Trump can flip New York, but he might be able to win Ohio, Nevada, Florida, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
