This - much as a lot of Smith's acting and Moffat's time-whimey shit irks me, that whole first season arc with Amy Pond and the Raggedy Doctor was fucking brilliant apart for one or two weaker episodes out of the season. The buildup to The Pandorica and the Cracks was done extremely well and left on probably the highest note of any recent season finale in the show.
