Why is he still in the race? He needs more than 1000 delegates to secure the nom. When last has there been a situation like this?
Jeeze oh man
He thinks that he can clinch the VP position if both Trump and Cruz need his delegates to win on the 2nd ballot.
Who do you think he's harming more, Trump or Cruz?

>Why is he still in the race?
The Establishment is forcing him to hold out for the convention in exchange for the nomination.
>People still think Trump or Cruz will get the nomination
>People still don't realize The Establishment in both parties is corrupt to the core.
Maybe he just wants to become more popular, more well known. Just putting himself out on the map. Maybe in some years he will be considered for some very high office. Or he runs again in some years and then people know him already

Well in the event a contested convention it's likely the establishment will push for someone who at least has some delegates to legitimize him. So it will either be him or Rubio who they back. At this point he's probably just harvesting what few delegates he can to pass Rubio.
He's probably also pushed by the national polls that have him clearly beating Hillary. Only national polls during the primaries are always misleading.
Personally I could see Hillary maybe only just beating him by play up the abortion laws he's enacted as governor to promote democratic turnout, while Republicans stay home because he will be the guy who stole the nomination from Trump and/or Cruz.
I tell ya, this is really crazy.

He's only embarrassing himself at this point.

Well his term expires in 2018, Governors have a hard enough time maintaining a national media presence while in office, let alone out.
Unless he enters the Senate he will likely be forgotten and unable to match even the minimal success he's achieved in this race.

He's delusional if he thinks the eight state rule won't be kept in place by the Trump/Cruz delegates before the convention.
>>71542956
Doesn't the 8 state rule only apply to the first round of voting?
