2. the "reinstatement" you are referring to was a simple name change and added like 10 % more Christianity to the curriculum (preaching is still prohibited) made after the 2016 election to please the Christian Democrats because the Progress Party and Conservatives need their votes to get their budget through parliament.

He was convicted to "21 years of detention". See, when someone gets "detention", they can stay in jail forever, regardless what number of years the verdict says. Detention allows for an inmate to be held indefinitely if he is deemed dangerous to society. The 21 years just means that after 21 years, they'll evaluate Breivik's prospect of being a good citizen.
Since he literally said "I'll gladly do it again", and is reported to be growing worse in prison, he will never, ever, ever be released.

2. The Progress Party (anti-immigration) polled at over 20 % before the Breivik attacks. After the attacks, they plummeted, and suffered major losses in all major cities. Everyone credited this to Breivik (he was a member a few years before he became radical), Also, those he intended to hurt got loads of sympathy votes.
3. Pro-immigration parties got MASSIVE influx of new members in the days after the attack.
4. The extreme right went from being under the radar and something nobody cared about to become the top priority of our security police.
5. People to right of the Progress Party and even the Progress Party itself became guilty by association thanks to him.
6. Most people want restrictions on immigration, which is reflected in the fact that way over 50 % of our MPs, including Labour MPs, are very strict on immigration. They were strict before Breivik too.

No. Muslim immigration is down, getting asylum here is pretty hard, we accept nowhere near as many as Sweden, over half the people that come here are sent back and those few who get to stay can't choose where they will live as long as they aren't financially independent (in Sweden they can just choose where the state should pay them to live). Community planning is done way smarter here to avoid clusterfucks of Swedish proportions.
