That's why the Zapatistas went full prohibition in their commune. They saw that Indians were extremely prone to addiction and decided to just ban all drugs. It's worked out pretty well for them, but they're communists so they don't have any money. At least they aren't drunkenly chopping off their own fingers or getting drunk and beating their wives anymore.
