He has already gone on record saying he won't run as a third party and will endorse Hillary if she wins the Democratic nomination. I can see him as VP for Jill Stein (Green Party candidate) however, which would certainly have an impact.

A 4-way race is my dream election.
No one would be able to get to 538 or even be able to win a majority of the popular vote, which means the President will be appointed by the House. Assuming the House can even agree on a President with the chaos that is about to unfold in the two main parties from contested conventions, they still wouldn't be able to convince Americans to accept who they choose as the legitimate president. At worst, they won't even be able to reach an agreement and Obama will enter his 3rd term.
A 4-way race is the only thing I can imagine that could actually shake up the establishment in America and get Americans to fight back.
