Actually, if you knew anything of the tea party, it had been derailed by the establishment in recent years.
I am a conservative. And with Trump's platform being the toughest on domestic, national security on our open southern border, and temporarily halting Muslims until vetted, while connecting the costs of carry these welfare shitskins to our national debt....that sounds pretty conservative to me.

I think we should have a small, manageable Government. But the things it does manage, it should manage properly.
Governments shouldn't be running deficits for massive wars a majority of people don't support. They are catering to special interests, both liberals and conservatives.
The problem is the structure, purpose and management of modern democracy. It was designed a long time ago, and it's aging.
It's not 'fast' enough for the modern generation. We can pay our cellphone bills in 2 seconds on an app, but we can't vote our a bad Government for 5 years.
To much micromanagement and not enough macro management.
