I'm making perfect sense. The enlightenment brought in ideas like freedom of speech protected by law, which meant people could voice opinions that differ from the majority and approved narrative. Were we to live in a pre-enlightenment age in terms of this freedom, but it didn't agree with them, they couldn't voice their opinions in the first place.

The alt-right """""""movement""""""" is just a bunch of social conservatives who are creating a samizat pop-culture online and using it to push back against left wing media dominance. There's no unified goal, overarching ideology, core group, or any of that shit. The reason the alt right doesn't organize is because it refers to several dozen atomized ideologues (fascists, an-caps who hate leftism, Trumpists, NRX, third positionists, identitarians, white nationalists, young paleocons, etc.) The guy's premise is flawed from the fucking get-go because he's somehow assuming that there is any sort of internal unity in the first place.
Also any young person who shows up to an alt-right event runs the risk of being doxxed, fired, and being branded as a "Nazi" for the rest of their public life. For people just getting into politics, that's a pretty high risk vs reward barrier. Small local organization should be the first step, if any. Big rallies or protests (other than Trump related ones) are trouble.
