Yes, we know they only got a few Shermans and yes we know they were shit, especially compared to the T-34s, but there was a lot more needed for the war effort than just the tanks. Just about every other vehicle of worth, the planes, trains, and automobiles (trucks specifically) were provided by us. Let's not forget other essential material aid like boots (which the German Sixth Army and friends could tell you all about how nice those would have been in Stalingrad) and, perhaps most importantly, food.
