Well for the past year I've been using Trump as the test to see if a girl is worth even spending time with.
I wait until I am on a date, I make sure everything is going great, we are hitting it off, then towards the end I bring up Trump and ask them what they think. I don't reveal my positions just let them talk after I got them comfortable and maybe a few drinks in.
If they go the typical liberal route and start spouting off the media narrative about trump I say something like "hmmm" or "wow, I guess I completely misread you" then I either get up and simply walk out directly then and there or excuse myself to use the restroom and ditch.

Basically, just use the political climate of the day and try to find genuine opinions on topics and that will give you a very good and realistic basis on how to weed out the idiots from the salvageable ones.
