So lets see the statistics, anyone have them and can compare them to crime by race and percent of population? I'd be surprised if number of police brutality incidences exceeds even 20% more common against blacks.
Also what is police brutality? Is that when some fat cops tackles some upstanding black citizen who decides it is a good idea to run away from the police and he gets hurt in consequence? Or are we talking about cases where police beat the shit out of someone for personal reasons?
Ok. Let's talk about BLM "statistics"
It's true that black people are killed at higher rates by police officers of all races. However the entire BLM message is based on the premise that this higher rate of death by police (as well as higher incarceration rates) are proof of systemic racism against innocent black people. There is nothing in the statistics that proves these police killings are unjustified. The occam's razor explanation is that blacks are more likely to be arrested and/or die at the hands of police, which is supported by the fact that blacks have much higher rates of all types of violent crime.
However, crime statistics are rejected off-hand by BLM activists, who say that it's impossible blacks commit more crime and that these statistics are racist. So they only accept the statistics that support their "black victimization" narrative. BLM is intellectually dishonest.
