When I went to Texas I expected to see a lot of Dixie flags but I only saw one in a farm near Houston
Did people stop using Confederate flags?

It's more prevalent in rural areas.
>Did people stop using Confederate flags?
Yeah after the Civil War.
How long did it take immigration to deport you?

You've clearly never been to Virginia.

Texas is a bullshit liberalized state. Go a few states east.
>>71442450
Texas doesn't really identify with Dixie. You probably saw a shitload of Texas flags instead.

Texas fought with the confederacy during the civil war, but Texans are way more proud of the war that they fought literally 5 years earlier for independence.
When Texas seceded the USA, it was like right after they joined, so they saw it as changing their mind about joining in the first place.
Not only that, but none of the war was fought Texas, so we don't have sad stories of "Muh plantation got pillaged" like the other states.
If you want to see a Confed battle flag, go to any other Confederate state but not Texas.

Yeah, actually
There was a Texan flag in every corner
>Houston
Nigger what

Confederate flags and monuments to the Civil War are a little more common in east Texas. My hometown was used to supply ammunition and clothing to the Confederate army, and after the war a Union prison was built close by.
Other than that, pretty much this >>71443749
Most of texas doesn't associate with the CSA, including the texas triangle, the south, the west, and the panhandle. Partially because of all the mexicans, partially because there's an unspoken understanding the the deep south is garbage (partially because of all the niggers) and we're better off on our own.
You'll find some more secluded towns near Louisiana where they plaster the dixie flag on everything. Went on a trip to palestine a few years back and would have felt pretty worried if I wasn't white.

This
Texas identifies more with the West and even The Midwest than they do with The South.

Yeah, I'm a central texan, so we dont have much influence left
