Stalingrad was a battle over a small city with nobody left living in it and no resources nearby, the only reason Stalin invested so heavily in defending the city is because it was named after him.
To see why Germany was doomed we have to go back to the moment the war started, September 1st, 1939. The German GDP was 411 billion, Britain and the commonwealth combined surpassed that with a GDP of 687 billion alongside the French GDP of 250 billion. There was simply no way Germany could match the resources of the allies. However, to make matters worse the US was clearly in support of the allies, and in 1939 they had a GDP of 869 billion. Simply put the US didn't need to send a single soldier to Europe to win WW2, they just needed to give the British tanks and destroyers and the Soviets trucks, tanks, boots, and other bullshit via the lend lease act. At the end of the day Germany lacked the surface fleet to defeat Britain, the numbers to match a US supplied USSR, and the navy to properly supply a North African war. Even assuming the Germans somehow won every land engagement of the war they would have simply been blocked into Europe cut off from all trade and bombarded by the RAF until the United States could drop some atom bombs on Berlin or a land invasion of Europe was launched.

Maybe against poland and a single other country. When you look at the numbers regarding GDP on armaments, then US brah is right. Just britain alone had way more resources and total amound spend on military.
Looking to 1941 though this is a different question. Thanks to additional resources and factories in poland and france, germany got the war machinery really going that people are usually "are told" happened in 1936. But without the additional land, germany would never have been able to go into "total war" mode. At it´s peak, germany was around 10% GDP for military stuff in 1939. Well you didn´t write about anything I´ve stated. Not having your troops/support ready just shows me that their mobilization process wasn´t finished (obviously) and that they might not have been well organized at doing it. Could copy paste some stuff but I´m too lazy to look for the txt file right now. Tldr: 60% of the trucks and trains needed to get food, troops tanks etc to the frontlines came from the US/UK, USSR lacked support. Also food and boots. Thus basically making operation barbarossa a pre-emptive strike. Nobody is denying that Stalins mobilization plans weren´t finished, or he could at least have switched to a defensive plan.

Again I disagree. Getting troops, weapons, tanks, planes, ammo and food to the frontline was very important. Without that, the soviets couldn´t have done much, just sending even more into battle without weapons/ammo as cannonfodder. Also the soviets lacked food in general, starving to death doesn´t help you really well while fighting a war.
Also there are numerous diaries from former USSR officers at that time depicting that they would have lost without all the food and material and that they were really thankful to the US.

Not quite. For example: lend-lease supplied 1981 locomotives to the USSR, but the USSR had 25000 locomotives before the war.
In effect, lend-lease made Soviet industrial processes more focused and efficient, it wasn't anything important in purely material terms.
(It wasn't that the USSR couldn't produce tens of thousands of locomotives, it's just that making tanks instead maximized the effectiveness of the war effort.)
