Politically, the age at which one becomes an adult is 18.
However I feel like de facto, this is no longer the case. I feel that most people at this age do not refer to them or other people their age as men or women.

Extended adolescenceand delayed development is the problem. People need to be infantilized less not more; people must once again be given more responsibility earlier so they will not simply coast through life.

Age is not a very good metric
18 is an adult. Its just some people need accountability and responsibility. If 18 they should still be tried as an adult, by who they are and by how they should actually act.
