No, it's not a crime at all. Sometimes people will get suspicious, so it's good to have a cover. For instance, my dad is of Italian descent, so I can just say that the nose and dark hair come from there. I also keep a pretty short, conservative haircut so I don't get the signature curls. I like to feign just a tiny bit of antisemitism (not a crime either, thanks based 1st amendment) even though I think that much of /pol/'s ridiculous with the >muh joos. I have glasses too, so I wear them a little bit lower on my nose to make the profile look less mercantile. Other than that, there's not a whole lot. I've been at uni for almost a full year and the only people that know I'm a jew are the people who went to high school with me before I knew how bad it can be.
