I don't think he's gone full nationalist. He looks at the world as it changes ever more for the worse and if he's honest about his methodology, he's weighing all arguments against each other. Like in his most recent atheism video, where he finds himself allied closer to the conservative Christians than to the atheists who as he discovered are nothing but lefty crybullies worshipping the state as their God.
Maybe he's now seeing the world for what it is.
