I never looked into it due to lack of interest, until now when I discussed politics and the guy I was talking to said it's stupid to complain about Sweden because "we're a first world country dude, are you serious?" and it got me thinking, I read the wikipedia that first post adressed pretty much but thought it had some hidden meaning/meme behind it.
