On May 11th, the Senate hearing for "admission of the impeachment" will take place. The requirement will be read and a ballot will be cast about whether the Senate should accept the process or not.
If it passes by a simple majority (42/81), Dilma will be put on a 180 days license with half paycheck while the Supreme Court produces a report about her alleged crimes. Vice-president Michel Temer will be upgraded to "acting president" then.
After the Supreme Court report becomes ready, the Senate will meet again in order to vote for her definitive impeachment. 2/3 of the Senate must approve this and if it passes, Dilma loses her political rights for 8 years and Michel becomes president for the remainder of the term (scheduled to expect in 31/12/2018) and Brazil will be left without a "official" vice-president until new elections take place.
