It was totally planned. Gorbachev could've easily stopped it like the Chinese did by rolling out the tanks and asserting his authority. The army even tried to act without him, but failed because central command wasn't helping them co-ordinate their efforts. It was basically an orchestrated shakeup, where the high command (Gorbachev and his jooos) chose to screw over the nation instead of reforming it in the state capitalist direction. A model that has btw been proven to be the best economic model (again, China).

The most obvious part is that with the death of Andropov the KGB got cucked and was out of power and privilige they also thought Gorbachev and the Politburo where a bunch of retarded cucks so they plotted to remove Gorbachev and they figured the best way of doing that would be to assist him with the liberal reforms so they tore the entire thing down. After a few years it collapsed the country was full of liberals and criminals, pverty and depression and Yeltsin begged them to restore order and they did soon after they put Putin in there and rule ever since with no liberalism or democratic nonsense ever arising again.
