I hope that you are all ready to be replaced by machines /pol/

>>
who will buy all these shitty consumer goods when all the jobs are gone you alarmist faggot
>>
That concept is retarded.
>>
>>71395448
Looks inconvenient
>>
>>71395448
Good thing none of that can replace security guards. We will always need Humans to make sure shit is secure.
>>
>>71395448
Why is it always some third world shitholes that thinks of these terrible and inconvenient designs?
>>
>>71395448
Now you have to have an entire store selection per car parking space for at least 50 to 100 lots. The video has one human cashier per lot and one stocker per brand.

You give the people UBI
>>
>>71395448
Yummy processed food.
>>
>>71395448
Add home delivery to it and you've got Amazon.
>>
>>71395448

They already had a chain of shops that were exactly like this, they were called BEST (no relation to best buy) and they failed in the early 90s once the novelty wore off because no one liked shopping there

There's just way too much variety in food for this to be feasible.
>>
It'd be alot faster if I just went and used the self-checkout.
>>
>>71395448
Who will make those machines?
>>
>>71395448
We should develop consumerist robots that can consume stuff and add to the economy. We should replace all humans in fact because robots would be better for the economy.

Also:
What the fuck are the fading picture Google captchas? Goddamn I hate that shit.
>>
>You pick the line to get in behind Grandma Grizzleguss in her Lincoln and she take 2 hours to scroll through the campbells soup selection and then cannot figure out how to get the pay to work and the robot receptionist accidentally gets bumped into and malfunctions. Time is up human, you have to get to bed to wake up early to get to your job as a robotic repair specialist who repairs the robots that repair robots.
>>
>>71395448
obviously since the white man will be enslaved or destroyed overpopulation will be a problem the earths atmosphere will have been completely depleted so we will all live in giant underground complexes thought it won't look exactly like this maybe some grey sludge that you drink or eat that has all the vitamins and shit you need
the grey sludge is actually ground up whites
>>
>>71395621
this
>>
>>71395448
There won't be any markets, people will order shit online and have it delivered.

Won't happen in Europe. We don't have enough space for those huge markets over here. It's already tight.

Won't work because the EPA, FDA, and what ever agency would can it because product would be exposed to massive amount of car fumes. Not to mention you would have to have alot of cashiers because the idea of this is one car shops right in front of the cashier. It is more cost effective to have the current setup than that because you don't need a fucking army of cashiers dealing with customers. Plus supermarkets benefit foot traffic because most people don't have a clear mind set on what they want hence why they will strategically place shit where it's inconvenient like the meat department not next to the bread area or greens from meat. The route we will go is just having couple cashiers and a shitload of those self cashier docks.

TLDR: Its fucking retarded
>>
>>71397895
I have seen literally 5 people post that picture claiming they took it after a cashier suddenly told them "we deserve $15 an hour!" out of the blue, and they explained to them that these machines are their replacement
>>
>>71395709

Actually no, since only a machine can be so cold blooded to get the job done without any exception.
>>
>>71395448
This is pretty fucking stupid.

I'm still waiting on drones that can deliver anything. Amazon's little dog and pony show wasn't worth a shit.

Let me know when we move past this garbage automated crap for getting groceries.

Like I said, if a drone can't fly it to my house, then we don't have shit.

Dayyyam son that bitch to the left don't need to be checking herself out cuz I'm already doing it knowwhatimsayin?
>>
Well I am. I once did job like that. It takes lot of strength not to go crazy when doing it for hours.
>>
>>71395448
I can think of 50 ways that first employee isn't necessary.

Stackers wouldn't be necessary either if the delivery trucks had a simple mechanism to push rows of wares onto belts that a computer moves into outlets according to need.

Fuck your $15, fuck the luddites, BUILD THE TECHNOLOGY
>>
>guy picks up one item after the other
>never skips rows
As >>71395621 said
Retarded. This is just one among many other problems.
>>
>>71395448
It's not likely that we will automate shopping as many people don't see it as a burden
Those who do can just use home delivery
>>
>>71398703
There's not that many IKEAs, you'd need grocery stores everywhere
>>
Jesus christ amerifats get out of your car.
>>
>>71395448

>>71395448

we've been here before, full auto stores aren't going to happen

why? Because people want humans inside their places of business. Empty stores say to customers that "there's nothing in here worth buying". If it's just 2-3 employees getting all your stuff, then why bother going to a store at all and not getting it delivered?

>>

>>

>>

some do, many stores have scooters at the front for fat people apparently drive themselves in normal sized cars.
>>
>>71395448
>Thoughts on this?
I won't use self checkout and I won't use this.

Automation's a meme, it peaked in 2004 or so and has been tapering off since then.
>>
>>71396986

What's being shown is extremely primitive but Ikea and Lego have completely automated warehouses with millions of different parts.
>>
>>71395448
There might be a day in the future where labor is optional and everyone who doesn't want to work wont have to. People who find themselves bored or motivated can obtain jobs for extra money or something.

We all drive scooters everywhere anon.

It's for our diabeetus.
>>
We already have all the markets buildings we need built and outfitted. In fact we have more than enough as Walmart has killed many of them.

Nobody is going to replace an existing building with a Disneyland for food. Youll never make the money back.
>>
>>71401082
There might be a day in the future where everything is sunshine and lollipops
>>
>>71401185
But if we just spend a hundred million on robots then we can save money on twenty minimum wage workers!

Don't you see anon, automation!

Then we all get a basic income and put it into the robots who fill our tummies.

I'm not being as retarded as OP.

Evn as a dude with a small car this looks awfull.
Having to drive as close as you can get to the shelves, having to extend your arm all over the conveyor belt, sure its fine fo tomatoes and a can of soup. But what about a crate of beer, a big sack of potatoes.
And then all your stuff on the passenger seat, your trunk is useless now.
All with only your left arm.
Its gonna be a bitch on your back if you stock up.

Plus i can already see womyn needing 6 tries to get it properly aligned with the shelves, and then get out of the car anyway because the bags are to heavy to get into the car without a firm stance on the ground
>>
>>71401185

You are aware of our ability to build both above and below ground? There is no need whatsoever to make this a huge flat area.

>>
>>71401559

Dude, Delft invented self driving delivery cars years ago. They are basically sturdy shopping trolleys with mag-locked tops where the customer enters a code to open it up and take it out at his front door.

>>
>>71401686
Thats different than a shelf you have to drag out everything with your left hand.
>>
>>71395448
fucking stupid

looks less efficient then current stores
>>
>>71401921

Why would you even bother to drive to the fully automated warehouse to manually fill up a box, put it in the automated delivery trolley and send it to your house? That makes no sense.
>>
>>71395448
>cars will be driven by humans in the future
LOL
literally everything will be delivered by drone, a technology already available.
>>
>>71395448
this is the most retarded thing i have ever seen
>>
>>71401610
Automation is your bait.

I've seen you here before, I know it's you.

Please tell me about your plans for a basic income, this is where this always seems to lead.
>>
>>71402486

Fuck no, niggers need to study to stay relevant. I study 12 hours a week and do skilled work that can't be automated.

I honestly think 90% of the problems in civilized society are caused by too much government involvement and fucking WELFARE. The moment lazy people don't have to do anything, they don't.
