I'm sure that picking on Megyn Kelly as a crazy bleeder works with some small subset of voters, but the general population views his as abhorrent.
It's a shame really because people are generally receptive to his ideas. Rethinking trade, stopping illegal immigration, not being beholden to special interests all would have widespread support.
