Here's the basics;

>Klansmen are likely well-armed to counteract the protesters if they lash out, and have already been making death threats

This is the militia's route. You can identify the well-trained militia in several ways. They're basically all dressed in fatigues, but I'm positive they have underground people mingling with the crowds. If you see someone with III, III%, or the LaVoy brand on them, you can be pretty sure they're with the III% Security Force.
The militia's permit supposedly grants them access to the main lawn in front of the mountain. They'll be parking along the highway, in the main lot, then marching to the Yellow Daisy Lot and forming a barrier between protesters, genuine southern pride guys, and Klansmen.
They also sound like they'll be color coded;
>Yellow: GSFIII% security, commanded by Chris Hill
>Black: Group captains or those with their own groups
>White: General audience and supporters
The color-coded shirts will have the militia logo, but I'm not sure how accurate this is; They usually wear fatigues.

My whole MO is that I have my own opinions, but I'm willing to hear others and not cut them off, so he agreed to possibly speak with me about Creativity if he spots me. This also marks the hundredth anniversary of the Klan's resurgence (which happened at the top of Stone Mountain), and the first Confederate Memorial Day which is unofficial on our Calendar (the GA state government celebrated it up until Dylan Roof).
I think if there's going to be a happening, it'll be when the Klan leaves the fenced-off area and marches up the mountain. It'll send them right through the protesters (whose permit has been issued to a community west of the mountain, but who will march to the lot).

Also, after I posted the pictures I took of a different militia rally outside the CNN building a few months ago here, Anonymous went to speak with them (rallies are monthly). They went there apprehensive, but left supporting the militia. They're going to support each other, and Anonymous has put out a notice that they'll respect the militia's use of the rebel pride flag.

What happened at the District 10 convention? I've been really fascinated by unorganized militias, but I've never heard of DLC or AR-23 (I assume it's Arkansas?)
What surprised me about the unorganized militias is how organized they are. The Georgia Security Force has branches in all the southeastern states. And once you learn to seek out their insignia, they're everywhere. I was photographing a rally, and a middle aged guy walked up off the street and took their card, saying he was in the Georgia Militia, but that he'd check out GSFIII%.
It really is amazing how there's a network of people who can organize this sort of thing.
