The physical realization of a universal quantum computer (Or, your "quantum cpu" is hard to implement it, as the quantum nature pf the system is lost pretty quickly because of its interaction with the enviroment. (The enviroments kinda "measures" your system and it losses coherence and shit).
At most you have now pretty specific quantum computers, like quantum system easier to control and measure experimentally used to emulate other quantum systems (just like a RC circuit can emulate a mass spring system cause they follow the same kind of equation). This, among many other shit concerning quantum error correction, individual and precise manipulation of single qubits and the fact that at the end quantum computer is really only better that classical computing in some specific problems, so no need to rush it, etc, is what makes universal quantum computing still a little bit far from becoming a common presence in our daily world.
