The one in my city died due to shitty stores and management. It had hobby, gaming, electronics, construction, niche stores, and a place you could pay a few bucks to play games on hardcore gaming pcs for a few minutes/hours, and an arcade on either end. Families would go and split up the men hitting those and the women hitting the clothing stores. The clothing stores made the mall more money so they only renewed leases for the same and forced all non-clothing stores out. Entire mall was literally just clothes and a food court. People started going to individual stores closer to their house since it was no longer a family friendly place and none of the old stores would return.

I remember when we had some awesome shopping malls growing up. My parents used to drop my brother and I and some friends off there in the morning and then come back and pick us up in the evening.
We spent ALL day there. Went to see a movie, went into the bookstores, went ice skating, ate some food at the food court, flirted with other girls we saw there and finished off by going to the arcade to play video games and had a great time.

This. This is one of the actual real answers in this thread. Malls themselves actually are not dying out in any real epidemic. What they are doing is restructuring. Malls now are either for the lower class, or the upper class. The middle class is dying out, and the ones that target the middle class are as well, so they restructure to appeal to their remaining customers. Most of the malls around me decided to remodel and become more upper class malls.
Another factor is that food courts are big attractions for malls, and interestingly enough even though millennials tend to be in college debt, they spend much more money on food out than any other age group because of the restaurants they visit. So these malls restructure to bring in more higher end places like Panera and Chipotle and stuff.

interesting you say that. This is what the Danbury Fair Mall seems to have done within the past 10 years. it used to be very middle class. people would walk around smoking in the mall into the 90s.
the mall was built on the old Danbury Fairgrounds. When the area was more rural the white people would have these huge fairs dedicated to the people from the area. it had a very German and Dutch influence. Then in the 80s they closed the fair and the jewified Danbury mall came to the area. It served the middle class up until the early 2000s
then around 2008 or so it was renovated to be very upscale. Since Danbury Borders ridgefield I suppose they wanted to attract more high end customers.
But you actually find now there are a lot of muslims and hindus and hispanic people now. it is incredible how much it has changed over the past 10 years. I worked at the Danbury fair mall literally 10 years ago and it was totally different. now it is just a brown mass there. very strange to go there and see how much it has changed. one does not even feel welcome being white and going there.
but there is a secret about that mall which few know. it is actually a planned FEMA internment center. its proximity to railroad tracks, airport, postal facility and the ample supply of adjacent hotels and car dealerships(with repair shops) make it ideal. I have a friend who's family owns malls across the US, and during the whole Dylan Roof charleston shitshow the father told me that one of his malls in south carolina actually detained dylan because he kept showing up at the mall and walking around, asking weird questions to everyone there. It was a happening place back in the day. We had some real great folks there, the assistant mgr Matt, Scott, myself, Freddie the Shark and the manager Greg; it as pretty fucking legit. Motherfuckers got me a gift card after my for Xmas after my dad died and I nearly lost my shit on the sales floor. Those fine gents were like family. We killed it back then, made good money too.
The mall in Bismarck, ND is pretty active. The anchor stores like Walmart and Scheels attract a large number of people, even JCPenny is doing well (they managed to survive the 90s death meme). The other smaller stores feed off the traffic from em. We had our first real "brawl" here a couple months ago - ofcourse it was a group of niggers who did it. Fucking oil boom brining in that shit.
The other mall we have in North Bismarck is pretty much dead, it's anchor store is Sears which isn't doing well.
Sears, Kmart, etc. Are relics of the 90s that didn't manage to adapt.

Ladies and gentlemen, malls are not dead. They're only dead in areas where 1) there's lots of undesirables of ANY kind and 2) they can't attract a wealthy clientele. One wants to see the product in person for most expensive purchases. Gucci doesn't sell many shoes online because the fit is always different and colors can be deceiving. You want to see that thing in person especially before dropping six hundred dollars on it or more. For a pair of casual sneakers? You can just buy it online because you know what to expect.
Florida has seen the completion of several malls recently. I don't care for malls personally and I'm happy to see the revival of traditional main street retailers. Some malls that come to mind that are successful and have expanded, are expanding, or are new include:
- Sarasota Mall (new)
- Bal Harbor Shops (expanding)
- Aventura Mall
- that big mall there along US-1 in south Miami golly I can't remember the name
- the nice Naples Mall
- Merrick Park (Coral Gables "mall" thing)
- Gardens Mall
...and there's probably some others I'm forgetting.
The common factor here is that these are white, wealthy, vaguely Jewish malls where people want to feel and see the products before purchasing them and where a personal relationship with the sales clerk is meaningful unlike at the local nig nog nike store. None of these malls have a fucking grocer or a fitness club or a wal-mart as the anchor tenant. They have Nieman Marcus or used to have Jordan Marsh in the day or they have Saks or Bergdorf Goodman or Barney's or Nordstrom and all the other big nice tenants.
There was a mall in downtown Miami that has been since converted into other things since it failed due to niggers and it was one of the nicest malls around through the 1980s. It was one of the very few indoor malls with an Hermes store. Why did it fail? Niggers were too close by and the suburbs. Makes you think.

I live in Milwaukee. We have a mall called Mayfair that constantly has nigger problems. Almost biweekly massive brawls break out and there is mass shoplifting.
