What is the best way to regulate this?
>>
Dude
>>
tax it like tobacco and let stores sell it
>>
Make it legal and tax it like with alcohol.
>>
>>71139783
you don't
>>
Make it a federal crime sentenced with up to 25 years in jail for either possessing, consuming or producing it in any (pre)form.
>>
Keep it away from the banking and advertising world by making it quasi-illegal.
>>
>>71140158
shouldn't you be more worried about the whole sex trafficking thing?
>>
Make it legal and tax it like with alcohol.
>>
>>71140158
I guess it wouldn't be /pol/ if there weren't someone with comically authoritarian views.
>>
Make it an alcohol and tax it like legal.
>>
>>71139783
Burn it all
>>
>>71140225

Why? As long as it stays illegal my balkan bros and I make good profit.
>>
Legalize & tax it.

and that is why you country is irrelevant in this day and age. people only think of cheap sex and red light districts and bad soup when they think of your country.
>>
>>71139783
Before we regulate it in any punitive way can you tell me what is wrong with it? Morally? Socially?
>>
>>71140355
Yes that's what most smokers would do.
>>
Taxilize and leeg it.
>>
>>71139783

Probably valves or something
>>
Prohibition does not function. It merely creates black markets. Our decrepit prison system of today is caused by the war on drugs. It's design to make the private prison system rich.
>>

Do you believe the same thing for alcohol? Caffeine? You're drawing arbitrary lines in the sand based on social conditioning.
>>

No way dude, a just smoke a joint on my way to work and function totally normally throughout the work day accomplishing many great things for my friends neighbors and country and accomplish several other great things for society all while being high on weed.

So glad it's legal here. Just harvested 1 of my plants, got about 4 ounces from that. Feel fucking great, because that is basically $1200 I don't have to spend on smoke. Now I don't know what to do, because the only thing I've ever wanted to do was grow bud. Now I have enough to last me a couple of months. Guess it's time to find a job or something.
>>
>>71140808
I do believe the same for alcohol, but not for caffeine. I am drawing no arbitrary lines.
>>
>>71140855
I do the same thing, but with bourbon.
>>

yeah i know many people who do that day in and day out for years and years and have families and houses and everything

but you seem like you got it all figured out shitposting on /pol/. there's no stopping a high flyer like you

>>
>>71139783

the 2 tier system like colorado. dispenseries are regulated but you can grow your own too.

interesting factoid --- it is legal under federal law to culivate and consume your own tobacco - BATF is there to make sure of tax stamps for the regulated tier.
they will expand their duties once feds legalize and regulate
>>
Exactly. Everyone agrees smoking a joint is a perfectly normal and healthy part of the work day. I'm glad society has progressed so far. It is 2016 after all.

>>
>>71139783
Not to. The very notion of regulating a fucking plant is inane. Guess what? I live in a state where its illegal. Know how hard I have to work to find it? I dont, dealers have to undercut each other because there is so much of it around.
>>
>>71139920
Would you allow people to grow a couple of plants at home?
>>
>>71140525
>cheap sex
What's wrong with cheap pussies of all form and shape?
We have also have all kind of trannies, traps, gays, if you are more into this stuff.

>red light districts
Above inclusive a great diversity you can chose from.

>bad soup
Food is kind of standard farmer kitchen, but after a long journey from Tirana back home, Van full of girls and multiple stops, it gives you back the energy.

But yeah, protestants can't understand the fun part in christianity. Yid whore.
>>
>>71139783
Here it works, stuff like this is easily detected
>>
>>71140930
Yes you are. Why do you believe caffeine is an acceptable narcotic while others are not? What about opioid pain prescriptions. They kill far more than every other narcotic.
>>
>>71141222
do people get arrested for growing their own tobacco plants?
>>
>>71141222
Sure, but it's easier to buy it from the store.
What's stopping people from growing Tobacco?
>>
Why do people smoke weed? It poisons your mind.
>>
>>71140870
That's some gangly looking shit bro, props for taking the initiative though. You should maybe read up a bit more on growing techniques though. Keep it up.
>>
>>71139783

In my lungs.

It's the only thing that keeps me sane anymore.

With out it I'm filled with rage. I've always have been and always will be (living in Chicago around niggers for 20 years)

With it out I can snap any moment and start beating on someone for looking at me wrong. It's what was needed to survive in that urban jungle. Since I live in an all white neighborhood I need it to suppress the animal blacks have made me become from our countless wars.
>>
Why does it seem like whoever someone advocates for legalization others, on /pol/ at least, jump to say smoking will occur on the job, at the job, and more. What leads anyone to believe it'll be any more widely used than alcohol.

I despise weed but see huge benefits in its legalization. Pull the fangs from criminal groups, decrease the pressure on our overflowing prison system, allow for taxation. What is wrong with these thoughts?
>>
>>71139783
>Salvia is legal
>Alcohol is legal

It would save and generate lots of money if it was treated like alcohol or tobacco.

tobacco is much harder to grow

theres a reason its called weed or grass

it will grow anywhere

Pretty much as Colorado has done, but add the ability to purchase and use like they do at amsterdam coffee shops

Because nicotine and THC have completely opposite effects. If anything it would effect the alcohol industry more.
>>
>>71139783

>only sell it in edible form
>on Fridays and Saturdays

That way most people will only do it at the weekend unless they buy a shit ton for the week and you get all the health benefits of it without the bads of smoking. Stops laziness in the week, promotes creativity and relaxing at the weekend.
>>
>>71141683

They are two completely different drugs that produce different effects on the mind and body. The only thing tobacco and mj have in common is that they are normally smoked to obtain the drug's effect.

yes, the alcohol industry does lobby against the legalization of mj

THC pills (only available by prescription) for pain patients
Ban for everyone else. No production allowed. No recreational use allowed.

This is the best solution for everyone and you know it The only way to disagree with it is the "muh freedom, it's my body and muh decision to get high you fucking statist nazi" kinda anarchist school of thought bullshit.

In Colorado they have these little smoking lounges where you bring your own weed but they are incredibly strict about selling on their premises. Personally I think they're full of sperglords.

not just growth demands, but the process of curing tobacco to make it smoke able is more time consuming and complex.

Slap a 32% federal sales tax on it, restrict it to 18+ years of age (not that it will work but that'll help keep the crybaby conservatives from having their retard fits so hard) and call it a day.

>>
>>71148016

probably needs to be licensed to sell, there'd be a lot of competition, or the coffee shop would be smart, cut out the middle man, buy or rent a little warehouse space and grow their own. Lots of people in Colorado know how to grow really potent, stinky ass pot these days. I'm sure its the same for all the states that have legalized recreationally
>>
>>71148016
I would need a license and it's a huge pain in the ass because you have to track each individual plant. I think you also need multiple licenses to grow and process the herb to smoke. There are so many shops around, it wouldn't be hard to sell it if I forked over the couple of grand for the licenses. I grow pretty much just for myself and my family. I don't real have any friends, so no one else to share my bounty with, just my mom, my brother, and my uncle. My girlfriend smokes, but only occasionally.

There are plenty of jobs one could perform while kinda high on weed. Mostly menial bullshit, but still. It all boils down to your work ethic.

Industrialize the FUCK out of it.

Cannabis thrives in arid climates that are typically unwelcoming to other crops, so now we've got all this potential farmland for a luxury resource.

Now all we need is some competition. We fly in a bunch of fine, 6ft Chocolate Prince's from the inner-city basketball teams to give us a few seeds of in their parlance, "THAT BOMB ASS DANK SHIT WHITE BO! DIDJA KNOW WE WUZ KINGZ?"

So now, we've got quality crops and a competitive market, where do we go from there? Evolution. We get a bunch of botanists to come out and cultivate some type of super-strains, extremely potent cannabis, potent enough that we can justify a higher price on it.

Then, we call in someone with a name ending in -berg, and he'll tell us to take the cheap shit and make it much less potent, so the potent shit is now the only real acceptable shit is the potent shit.

There you have it. A plan that makes you want to invest in a Cannabis farm.
>>
>We get a bunch of botanists to come out and cultivate some type of super-strains, extremely potent cannabis
Current strains are the super strains. What do you think professional cannabis growers have been doing the past few decades?
>>
>>71141398
No. There is a store that sells native tobacco seed not more than 3 or 4 miles from my house. It's not the weak-ass stuff that is grown for commercial purposes, it is N. Rustica, which has more nicotine in it than N. Tobacum.

IIRC, you're allowed to grow up to something like 1/10 of an acre for personal use. If you've ever seen how big tobacco gets, that's a fuckload.
>>
>>71151531
Don't you have to prepare the leaves and whatnot?
Or can you just dry it and then smoke it?
>>
>>71141498
Nothing. But you will always get some fucks who start with the "But, but, but I don't want it around MY kids!" bullshit. I've got news for them: It is already around your kids, and if they want it, they get to go to some shady ass dealer who may or may not ensure the quality of the product, and who might just also sell other shit.
>>
>>71139783
Tax it like tobacco.
>>
>>71141683
Because nicotine leads to a physical dependence. If you smoke cigs before you start smoking weed, starting weed isn't going to change that. You'll still be addicted to nicotine.
>>
>>71151706
Yes, you have to cure the leaves. There are all kinds of curing methods, though if you're talking about cigarettes, the tobacco is probably either flue cured or sun cured. If you get into other kinds of tobacco, like pipe tobacco, you get things like Latakia, which is smoke cured over a period of weeks or months, or some of the various dips are fermented, etc...
