What is /pol/'s opinion on VICE?
Personally I think they are a cesspool of liberal scum, I hate them.
gavin mcinnes is based
i like some of their old documentaries, especially the ones with NK
They got sponsored and sold out.
They used to cover the interesting and grotesque stories. Now it's al "the white man did this" "women should be empowered"
There used to be no agenda, just a bunch of 20 somethings on crazy adventures
Now it's shit.
I only watch documentaries that are away form politics.
I only enjoy VICE for the absurd subjects but even that lately is terrible as there is always a faggot sharing his cuck opinion and saying really try-hard things, as if hes some great writer.
Its just cringy now.

He was too based for VICE, that's why they bought him out.

The type of brilliant articles Vice puts up:

It's crap.
Take this new "Gaycation" TV show for an example. They go to countries that are known to be hostile to faggots and carpetmunchers and spend an hour talking about how awful it is that there are people who are from a different culture who don't accept homosexuality,
There's literally no point to it other than "REMEMBER ME? I'M GAY"
politics and views aside, i enjoy a few of their documentaries. very interesting

Vice News is what you really want, but even Vice has a nice article once in a long while. Of course those good articles are becoming far and few between.
I remember watching the North Korea documentary back in middle school, at the time it was nuts because no one had go to the country to do a documentary in that style for the internet, but as the years dragged on, they got more and more politically leftward and obsessed with drugs. Along with Cracked, it is now just like an edgy version of buzzfeed, pretty sad state of affairs.

True but I like the fact that they go everywere and in very dangerous area

They had some of the sickest documentaries I have ever seen. Look up the "Sewer people of columbia". homeless people who live in the sewers, and some little beta art twig goes into the sewers and video tapes the whole thing.
I don't know what the hell happened to them. I used to think they were a seriously badass publication. I finally just unsubscribed from their pages out of disappointment.
90% of their shit is DUDE WEED tier degenerate garbage. Fuck That's Delicious with Action Bronson is hilarious and is the only good thing on Vice (that I know of).
I loved all of the older documentaries with Shane Smith but he doesn't seem to do any documentaries anymore.
As a newspaper reporter, FUCK VICE
Degenerate faggotry.

Old shit was good. Go on their Youtube and filter from oldest to newest and watch their old shit. Loved their NK shit, Cannibal thing and a bunch of other videos. New stuff is really bad. I started noticing this sudden Liberal surge a few years ago (maybe 2013) where my daily newspaper, Sydney Morning Herald, instead of placing actual fucking news on the front page began to use social problems as an excuse for 'news'. As in full on Hollywood Perez tier articles. Why is Rhianna fighting the patriarchy sort of shit. Seems to be the road of all news companies now? Do you know that they want to charge me 50c to read their online news now when it was once free? It's over. They pander 'news' to the people whom are majority, and that majority are the people whom dictate what news constitutes; unfortunately what news to idiots constitutes is glossy magazine articles. This was a national newspaper btw for non-Australians, not just Sydney despite the name. A national newspaper began shilling. Can you fucking believe it. Coincidentally, at this same time one of my mates decides they want to become a boy (they're not). In other news, take note of our laws and their change to such an extent that someone can be charged for being 'racist'. Something in the water supply? I mean the milk jugs from Woolies started changing their packaging with little aluminum seals... What the fuck is going on?!

But they're actually meeting gays and lesbians who are part of that culture and asking them about their experience. In the best parts of the show they ask questions and shut up to let the guests talk and join them in local activities.
