Yes, it is true that a developed city can take on a $15 minimum wage. Do you know how detrimental that would be for the rural parts of Washington? The small businesses would be fucked up the ass by it. California, for example, will feel statewide ass pain of $15. In less populated counties like San Bernadino it will drastically hurt small and large companies alike (whom the average worker make $854), while counties like Santa Clara would barely feel a thing (which makes an average of $2216). If there was an imposed $15 wage, it should be decided by how developed a county is in any given state.
